Georgette is Founder and Director of the Counseling Center for Emotional Growth with offices in Skokie, Oak Park and Lake County, Illinois.
With Georgette’s almost thirty years of clinical experience working with adults, couples, adolescents and groups, she is considered an expert in the areas of trauma, Holocaust Survivors, childhood sexual abuse, rape, anxiety disorders and depression.
Additional areas of interest and experience include personality disorders, oppositional defiant disorder, adoption, cancer diagnosis and combat veteran’s issues.
Georgette has presented at numerous professional events, and, in February of this year was a guest speaker on the Karen and Denise Radio Show (WRMN-1410 AM), discussing the topic “Does the media have an affect on a person’s mental well-being?”
Georgette graduated from University of Illinois Chicago with a Bachelor’s Degree in Counseling, and, received a Master’s Degree in Counseling Psychology, from George Williams College.
